I met Kristen for the first time for her Senior Photos!  Kristen will be graduating from Tesoro High School this month.  She is headed to Biola to study Speech Therapy.  Something that has become very near and dear to me having gone through it with my grandson.  Kristen you will be loved and appreciated by so many that you will touch in the future!!

I loved hanging out with Kristen she is such a sweet and beautiful girl!!

I love these...

I love the golden sun setting and glowing on  hair...

Thank you Kristen for being a good sport and playing even after I said we were done.  I know you were tired but these are some of my favorite shots!

Painted by the Master...

Ok, so I'm not a great blogger!  I would rather take photos than write.   Well, I'd rather do almost anything than write.  I have never been a good writer, in fact my kids helped me get through College English!!  So, now the secrets out, I don't write!  I have however committed to blogging more, dare I say it...twice a week.  So here it goes...

Along with blogging more I have decided to start submitting photos and put myself out there a little bit.  I saw an opportunity on http://www.rocktheshotforum.com/ to submit a Silhouette photo to their challenge for May.  I have a couple of photos that I took a while back that I love.  I had finished a shoot with the Sheltraw family and as we were chatting I noticed their boys sitting on the fence with an awesome sunset behind them.  It was like someone had a paintbrush and was painting the sky!  As any good photographer would do I stopped talking and started shooting!  It was so beautiful that night!  So now I have a chance to showcase one of those images (I added two to the post since I love them both)!  Thank you Rock the Shot for the opportunity to show these off!
These are pretty much straight out of the camera why mess with something that was naturally so beautiful and was being painted by the Master painter!  All I did was bump the black tones a bit to slightly darken the boys.   So beautiful - and I thought you had to go to Hawaii for sunsets like this!
